The Nike Mind 001 'Triple Black' (HQ4307-005) is Nike's neuroscience-based mule in an all-black Black/Anthracite-Cool Grey colourway. Released on 20 August 2026, it finishes all 22 underfoot foam nodes in black rather than contrasting colours.

Overview

Nike Mind is the first innovation from Nike's Mind Science Department, a neuroscience research group within the Nike Sport Research Lab. Announced in October 2025, the Mind 001 is designed to activate sensory receptors in the feet and heighten awareness and focus.

The Nike Mind 001 Triple Black uses 22 independent foam nodes per shoe, bonded to a flexible, water-resistant material, that move like pistons and gimbals to transmit ground sensation to the foot. The all-black foam runs across the columned side panels, the upper and the perforated tongue, with pressed-in tongue logos and subtle lateral Swooshes.

The easy-on, easy-off mule is built for recovery and downtime before or after training. The Triple Black colourway is the most understated version of the Mind 001, suiting anyone who wants the technology without the brighter node colours.
