Overview

The 'Broken Not Beaten' shirt marked Kobe Bryant's fifth NBA title with the Lakers and nodded to the hand injuries he played through, including fractures, dislocations and torn ligaments. Vanessa Bryant previewed the Kobe 5 Protro X-Ray in March 2024 before its October release.

The official colourway is Deep Royal Blue/Baltic Blue-Glacier Blue. The deep royal blue upper carries a visible foot radiograph motif, a concept that draws on Nike's 'Skeleton' Air Force 1 series.
